Hey hey my lovely entrepreneurs,

How are you all doing today?

So here in France, we start our first day of isolation, tomorrow.

The pandemic, has truly hit many households hard, however, we are very fortunate to still be able to work from home and get paid.

For some of my friends who are overseas, it is definitely not the same situation.

I’m probably going to start THEME posts on IG and my first theme is going to be all about SELF-CARE.

My last blog post was about questioning if what we do for others, we do to ourselves.

That is, do we take care of ourselves, like we others?

As a woman and a Mom, it feels like it comes second nature to me, to want to nurture and care for others. It may be the complete opposite for others, and that’s cool, but personally I have this pull to want to take care. And sometimes it can be detrimental to my own well-being.

Don’t get me wrong, I am well aware of the benefits of self-care, and I do take time out to just look after me, but maybe not enough …

So, with this confinement, I am going to come up with little tips that we can all use – especially in this period!

So, why is it so hard to take time-out for us? We should realize by now that if we don’t take care of ourselves first, then there is no way that we can efficiently take care of others.

And I get it – really I do – sometimes life is just way too hectic to even manage getting everyone out the door with matching socks (and shoes come to think of it!), let alone take time just for us.

BUT in this time of true uncertainty, and the fact that we are all confined, is a good time to take some time-out for you.

Even if it’s 10 mins to read an article, watch part of a show, get some fresh air on the balcony/patio/garden/window, listen to some music, hug your pet, and if you’re really game – a face mask!!!

Try it today and I bet that last clean sock my 5 year old has, you’re going to feel so much better!!!
